Welcome to the Islamic Circumcision Centre. On this site you will find information about circumcision for baby boys. Our goal is to make it simple for you to get the info and services you may require.
Infant circumcision is commonly done relatively early in the life of your son. Procedures completed within the first four weeks are considered newborn circumcisions.
We offer circumcision for newborn to adults.
If you have taken the decision to have your son circumcised it is recommended to schedule the procedure as soon as possible in his young and new life.
You can contact Islamic Circumcision Centre to confirm our next available appointment in Broadmeadows, Victoria, 3047 at 03 9041 8407 / 0422 203 444. We work hard to deliver quality care in a timely manner.
– As with any medical procedure, localised pain during and for a short time after the procedure will likely occur. Local numbing is mostly used and this will be discussed with you in detail prior to the procedure. Oral painkillers can be administered for comfort after the circumcision. Pain and discomfort after the procedure is significantly reduced when the procedure is completed at the youngest possible age.
– Serious complications requiring hospitalisation are rare (approximately 1 in 5000). Serious complications are virtually unheard of when performed by an experienced Ritual Circumciser. Nevertheless, you will be provided with an emergency phone number after the circumcision. The need for repeat surgery is not common at less than 1 in 1000.
– Generalised infections requiring antibiotics resulting from circumcision are extremely rare at less that 1 in 4000.
– Common mis-information about circumcision includes differences in penile sensitivity and negative psychological impacts. We encourage you to discuss these and any other concerns you may have with Mr. Louay El Masri.

Melbourne Circumcision Centre – Make an Appointment
What is Circumcision?
Boys are born with a hood of skin, called the foreskin, covering the head of the penis. In circumcision, the foreskin is surgically removed, exposing the end of the penis. Circumcision rates have been estimated at around 60% nationally in Australia. Please click below to learn more about baby circumcision at our clinic.
How is Circumcision Performed?
Brother Louay El Masri uses a virtually painless circumcision technique that applies a Mogen clamp with a long-acting local anesthetic. Learn more by clicking below. Contact us anytime at our Melbourne circumcision clinic, and we will be pleased to answer your questions or schedule an appointment.
